An SOS call from a new client. “Nothing in our holiday home ever works. We have had two different companies look at it and they have made a mess. You were recommended by a friend, can you please help? ”

At our initial call out we had the client walk us through their house. We came up with an action plan. 50% of the data cabling was faulty and needed a serious overhaul. After that a few hours of set up and testing gave great Wi-Fi in every room.

Next on the list was TV. As this house is huge there are nine TV’s and a home cinema. We upgraded the existing set up to a system that could send 4K picture quality to every room.

The biggest frustration for the family was how complicated everything was to use. We brought out a Control4 system and set it up in one room of the house. It took less than 5 minutes for them to declare they loved it and wanted it in every room of the house. “We can control everything from a TV? Cool!!” They can also control the entire house from their smart phones when they are at home in the UK.

Being a holiday home on a grand scale, heating an empty house was extremely wasteful. We upgraded the heating system to Heatmiser, giving our clients full control from their home in the UK. The energy bills have plummeted.
